1. Intended use
Use Laputa Backup only with files, machines, and Google accounts you own or are authorized to manage. Its purpose is storing and restoring selected personal backup data, using the permissions explicitly granted for that purpose.
This site provides public information. It does not provide an account dashboard, host your backup contents, or authorize access to private Lewis Family Systems or Project-Office records.
2. Owner responsibilities
The owner is responsible for selecting appropriate source files, reviewing access permissions, protecting credentials and repository passwords, and checking storage capacity and account access.
Verify captures and perform an isolated restore before relying on the workflow. Keep appropriate independent recovery information and copies. Decide retention and deletion deliberately, with attention to any obligations attached to the selected files.
3. Practical limits
The utility and its setup may change. No uptime commitment, support response time, completeness certification, or guarantee of successful backup or recovery is offered through this site.
A successful login, upload, or source test is not proof that all required files can be restored. Configuration mistakes, unavailable services, account restrictions, loss of credentials, damaged data, and machine failure can prevent a backup or recovery.
These descriptions do not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
4. Other software and services
The workflow depends on software including restic and rclone, and on the authorized Google Drive service. Their licenses, policies, account conditions, storage limits, and availability apply separately.
Lewis Family Systems is not presented as endorsed, certified, or operated by those providers. Read the privacy information for the distinction between encrypted payloads and provider-visible metadata.
5. Stop using the utility
You may stop local use and revoke the application's Google authorization. That does not automatically delete stored backups, local credentials, or restored files. Manage those separately after verifying what you need to retain.
Changes to these terms will be reflected on this page. Changes to access or purpose require an appropriate explanation and authorization; updating a page alone does not grant either.
6. Support
Use the support contact shown on the application's Google consent screen. Identify Laputa Backup and describe the issue without including credentials, recovery keys, or backup contents.
